Based on the same technology as our racing cartridges, the NIX 30 Adventure is built to withstand the rigors of adventure riding and deliver exceptional performance without frequent servicing. With individually adjustable compression and rebound damping, you can adapt your front end for optimal ride comfort and handling, whether you’re navigating rugged, narrow trails or fast gravel roads.
The fully adjustable NIX 30 Adventure kit for Honda CRF 1000L Africa Twin (2016-2019), CRF 1100 Africa Twin (2020-2021), and CRF 1100 Africa Twin Adventure Sports (2020) features our proven NIX damping system, with compression and rebound damping controlled in separate fork legs.
Among the advantages of NIX technology are improved stability and more precise control over the damping functions. Compression, rebound, and spring preload can be adjusted through the black adjuster knobs, conveniently located at the top of the fork. The cartridges are also equipped with an internal hydraulic stop to prevent hard bottoming. Different spring rates are available to accommodate individual requirements and preferences.
The compact design of the NIX 30 Adventure cartridges means they will fit seamlessly into the upside-down, original front forks on most medium-sized adventure bikes. They are also easy to install—just pop out the internals of your Africa Twin’s original forks and insert the Öhlins NIX cartridges for a major performance upgrade.
